The teacher I had was very good; on time, friendly and confidence building. However, he often spends half the lesson time rambling on with anecdotes that were repeated stories or either repeated stories or of no help. He also gave me very similar lessons two or 3 times in a row. I was also told that I could have my test brought forward if I paid for more lessons and had them closer together. He wouldn’t give me an indication of how many more lessons I needed, and when you’re running out of money this is a real issue. When I told him I was happy working towards my date, he became very frustrated that I didn’t want my test brought forward and that I could only afford a limited number of more lessons. The conversation ended up in my instructor losing his temper, shouting at me and telling me to find another instructor. He seemed nice, but tried to string me along and get as many hours work out of me.
