On with the crash hats, this is my 'tell it like it is' review of Atom driving.

Took me quite a while to pass, having not bothered to learn till my mid 30's, 5 times in the end. I put this down to being nervous, some really unlucky test scenarios and also because i put in for the test too early.
Brian is good natured chap, a great laugh and the time literally flashes past. Taking lessons was probably one of the most enjoyable things i've done in years, many chuckles and enjoyable drives. He's always busy, due to his internet savvy marketing presence, so book while you can.
I was amazed by how quickly he threw me in at the deep end. Instead of allowing my worries time to brew, he dealt with each stage in a really fast pace, in a 'get it done' type way. This was ideal for a person like me, because if i had been controlling the pace, we wouldn't of left my street. This especially helped when dealing with the dreaded A14 slip road menace. Only stood me up twice in 6 months, although he couldn't of helped one of them. He'll probably kill me for saying this, but to be critically constructive(in a good way), i would say that he could benefit as an ADI, from adopting a more structured problem solving framework, which could systematically identify, analyse and then resolve any underlying driving issues. I could just praise Atom for the sake of a good review, but to be totally honest, I think that i was put in for my test a little early and therefore didn't have much chance of passing, until i had spotted that i had several major areas that still needed addressing, before i felt fully assured. Only you can tell when you are ready, so definitely be vocal and speak up if there's stuff you still aren't sure of. As soon as i mentioned these concerns, he, in his usual manner, went out of his way to sort them. My issues were not changing gear quickly or often enough and going too fast round corners.
Over all, he is one of the best in Kettering, has a superb Fiesta Titanium and if he tightens up his problem identification and resolution, then he could be world class. In addition to this, he never doubles up pupils(some still do in this area, which is weird), the car is spotlessly fresh and he has the patience of his Labrador. A great experience and excellent value. cheers Brian...

I had a 2 year break from lessons because I really did not enjoy them very much. My friend learned with Brian so I called him and he said he could get me confident behind the wheel. He did and I passed my test last month. So grateful that I can now get out and about. Thank you...

I was very apprehensive about taking lessons as had some with BSM and felt I was hopeless. NOT TRUE. Brian had me confident from the first lesson and now I am waiting for my full license to arrive!!! Ta much!..
